How To Send Emails From a Gmail Alias?

    Hi there!👋

Being a sales professional, there will be times when you would want to send emails from a different address or alias. Wondering whether it is possible or not?

Well, yes, it is! If you are using Gmail, your alias can be a Custom Email Server, Yahoo, Outlook or Hotmail address. 🙌

Here's How You Can Add An Alias To Your Gmail account,👇

1️⃣ Go to Gmail and click on the 'Settings' icon on the top right corner of the page.

    Gmail

2️⃣ Click 'See All Settings' on the pop-up window that opens.

    Gmail

3️⃣ Click on 'Accounts and imports' on the top.

    Gmail

4️⃣ Click on 'Add another email address' right next to 'Send Mail As'.

    Gmail

5️⃣ Enter your alternate email address in the prompt that appears and click 'Next Step'.

    Gmail

6️⃣ Verify your alternate email address ✉️ to prove that it belongs to you by logging in to your account and clicking on the link in the Gmail verification email.

That's it, you are done! Now, upon sending emails from your Gmail account, your alternate email address will show up as the sender instead of the email address you use.
