Being a sales professional, there will be times when you would want to send emails from a different address or alias. Wondering whether it is possible or not?
Well, yes, it is! If you are using Gmail, your alias can be a Custom Email Server, Yahoo, Outlook or Hotmail address. 🙌
1️⃣ Go to Gmail and click on the 'Settings' icon on the top right corner of the page.
2️⃣ Click 'See All Settings' on the pop-up window that opens.
3️⃣ Click on 'Accounts and imports' on the top.
4️⃣ Click on 'Add another email address' right next to 'Send Mail As'.
5️⃣ Enter your alternate email address in the prompt that appears and click 'Next Step'.
6️⃣ Verify your alternate email address ✉️ to prove that it belongs to you by logging in to your account and clicking on the link in the Gmail verification email.
That's it, you are done! Now, upon sending emails from your Gmail account, your alternate email address will show up as the sender instead of the email address you use.
Here are the steps that you need to follow to use your Gmail Alias with SalesBlink,
1️⃣ Go to 'Outreach' and click on 'Email Senders'.
2️⃣ Click on 'Add Sender' in the top right corner.
3️⃣ In the pop-up, click on 'SMTP/IMAP'.
4️⃣ Turn on 2-Step Verification if you haven’t already from Google Settings.
5️⃣ Generate an App Password.
6️⃣ Enable IMAP for your Gmail / GSuite / Google Workspace account.
7️⃣ Enter your Alias email address in 'Sender Username' and the app password you generated just now in 'Sender Password'.
8️⃣ Enter the Alias email address in the 'Sender Email Address' field.
9️⃣ Hit the 'Next' button.
After this, the alias will show up as the sender instead of your Gmail account.
And as you can see, it is not complicated at all. 🙌
