👉Wondering how to create an email template? 🤔

At SalesBlink, we ensure that nothing looks challenging to you, and you can easily glide through all the steps. After all, when you choose to automate your sales process, you should enjoy the benefits too, right?

💡To help simplify your job as much as possible, SalesBlink lets you create email templates. Here is how you can add a new email template:

1️⃣ Go to the dashboard.

2️⃣ Go to Outreach > Templates.

Templates

3️⃣  Click on 'Create New' and select 'Create Email Template' from the drop-down. The email editor will appear where you can write your email.

While you can write your email template from scratch, there is the option to generate it using ChatGPT by providing a prompt.

We have trained ChatGPT to write high-performing cold emails that get you more replies.

SalesBlink is now more powerful!

4️⃣ Name the template, enter the prompt in the 'ChatGPT Prompt' field, click on generate.

Create template with ChatGPT Prompt

Here are a few prompt examples for you,

👉 I want to sell digital marketing services

👉 I sell lead generation services to SaaS companies

👉 Write a cold email to sell my CRM SaaS

👉 My startup provides health insurance to businesses

👉 I provide digital marketing services to startups

👉 I sell accounting software to enterprises

2. The tool will generate the subject line and the email copy based on your prompt.

You can modify the email copy according to the product or service you sell.

  👉 Text Personalization

Now let’s see how you can add personalized images and text in your email template with Variables.

Variables work in both the subject line as well as the email body.

Text personalization

Important Note: For any personalization variables to work in outreach, you must upload that data for your prospect.

You can convert your mapped properties from a list as Variables.

A variable is a text placeholder that gets replaced by the prospect's data at the time of sending emails.

Just select the List name in the 'Mapped Variables' drop-down as you can see below.

Click on the variable you would like to add to your email template.

It can be {{first_name}} if you want to mention the name of the recipient in the greeting.

You can also use Variables With Fallbacks

Let's take First Name for example, maybe not all contacts in your list have a First Name.

In such cases, you can use variables with fallbacks in the following format:

{{first_name | there}}

Fallbacks are taken into consideration when there is no data available for the field.

  👉  Image Personalization

SalesBlink also has the image personalization feature to offer that comes in handy in grabbing the prospect’s attention. It would look as though you personalized the image exclusively for them!

Here’s how to go about personalizing images,
1️⃣  Click on 'Personalize Image'.

For example, here’s what you can write something like the following as the image text,

Here, {{first_name}} is the variable.

The first name of the prospect will appear in the image, and you won’t have to keep changing it for every email you send. It will look as though you have tried to tailor the image, especially for the prospect.

 👉 FAQ

💡 What is a variable in personalization?

A variable is a text placeholder that gets replaced by the prospect's data at the time of sending emails.

💡 Can I add variables in the subject line?

Yes, you are free to add any text variables in your subject line.

💡 What’s the format for adding variables?

Here are some examples:

Field Name - {{field_name}}

First Name - {{first_name}}

Fav Pizza Type - {{fav_pizza_type}}

💡 I have added variables, but it’s not replacing with contact data.

Do make sure the data for that field for that particular contact is available. You can quickly check the data for individual prospects in the lists.

Or if you do not have the particular data for a contact, then you can also use fallbacks like {{first_name | friend}}. When {{first_name}} is not available, it will fallback to “friend”.

🔆Just be a little careful and make the most of personalization with SalesBlink!
